The fourth edition of “Climbing tours in Cala Gonone” has been released. Once again Corrado Conca has reprinted the entire guide book, this time in an extended and revisioned version. For those who love climbing in the territory of Cala Gonone this guide is a real must at a national as well as at an international level.

This latest, updated edition describes 760 classic and athletically demanding routes, 150 more than in the previous edition.

Cala Gonone. An illustrated climbing guide

This guide is easy to read and extremely functional; it meets all the requirements of mountain climbers.

It contains all the climbing areas of Cala Gonone, in the heart of the Gulf of Orosei, and of its hinterland. It offers lists and descriptions of hundreds of routes, a large map of the whole territory and information concerning the necessary services.

The “Selvaggio Blu” (Wild Blue) is a long, 7-day trekking tour along the Gulf of Orosei, on the East Coast of Sardinia.

As it is rather demanding and a physical challenge, the route has become almost legendary for excursionists. In fact, a lot of people consider it “the most difficult trek in Italy”.

The map depicts the Orosei Gulf and the Supramonte of Oliena, Orgosolo, Urzulei, Dorgali and Baunei. It contains 20 routes that allow the visitor to travel across one of Italy’s most imposing areas and to immerse in a landscape of extraordinary beauty.
